Last night I earned a nomination...

...for Bad Mommy of the Year.  We were snowed in at this hotel for the second day in a week (DD and I are tagging along on DH's business trip).  I was getting cabin fever, DD was going crazy tearing apart the hotel room, and we needed to get out.  Forget driving anywhere, and the hotel pool was closed because someone cut themselves on the edge.

So we took DD down to the hotel bar connected to the lobby.  I hated doing it, but DD charmed everybody, shrieked and socialized, and burned off the cabin-fever energy.  (This bar had no smoking.)

I don't know why I still feel guilty about it, but it was totally worth it.

Oisin has been a bar more than a couple times with me.  And I had a couple of drinks.  I didn't feel the least bit guilty.

As long as you only served her non alcoholic drinks, I think it's fine. It was a hotel bar, not a real bar anyways.
