Ok....I'm stirring the drama pot

i envy civilians....friend vent again.

my friend is starting to drive me crazy.  im in the navy, so i am on call 24/7.  they can basically make me work whenever they want to.  so i was talking to my friend last night and she says that she is going to talk to her boss to get her hours shortened, so that her daughter can be more active.  she works in the same daycare her daughter goes to.  my DD at daycare is her activity. i would love to work less hours and have her in classes for dance and stuff like that.  she always complains that she doesnt have enough time for school.  i do it, work full time, take care of my DD, im pregnant, and my DF is on deployment.  which even if he was here he wouldnt be much help because of his work hours. 

she is so spoiled too.. she bought a jeep last year decided 6 months later she didnt like it and traded it in.  she works her H like a slave.  the day before he left on deployment he was up all night doing their taxes.   here i am and i have to do mine and my DFs by myself.  im so jealous of her i cant stand it.  i want to be a spoiled rotten b!tch too. 

the thing that really gets me is she cries to me about it.  like i dont have enough on my plate already, now i have to be sympathetic to her.  she acts like she is so great, but if she was she would be able to handle her life a lot better.  last time her H went on deployment she called me at 5 in the morning to come over and kill a bug in her bathroom.  i had to go over and change her cats litter box nemerous time because she forgot to do it before she left town for the weekend.  she even started using my friends.  one of them had to mow her lawn and the other mowed her lawn and gave her cats a bath.  she says she will pay them and never does.

I really appreciate people serving in the military and have the up most respect for the things that they do, but I did not realize that we had started to draft people.  I am fairly sure you still have to choose to be in the military :-{  I don't doubt it is hard and everyone needs to vent sometimes.

No, No.  My favorite part is

She is an awful friend and her friend will be lucky to not talk to her any more.  She is a terrible friend to talk about her like that.

This girl is ridiculous.  She is creating her own drama and then complaining about it.  No one told her to do all of those things for this "friend."  If I were her, I would have told that "friend" a thing or two and left it at that...end of story.  Who is telling her that she HAS to keep this "friend" in her life?  Just end it and get over yourself!

Supposedly, as a SAHM, I am supposed to never spend money b/c the hubs actually earned it not me.  I don't contribute anything to this family without a job.

I think the only reason she does things for her "friend" is for the ole pat on the back, she wants the recogniation and has a need to be needed. I can just imagine she is one of those who sits there and tells EVERYONE she knows and even stranger (i.e. the nest) about everything she does, how awesome she is etc so that she can have them tell her she is great.
