Pull Out Method

A pp made me curious. Anyone using this or have in the past. Plus anyone get pregnant using it. DH and I are using this and rolling the dice Stick out tongue

I read a study that found it's nearly as effective as condoms in preventing pregnancy.

Yep we used it for one month while I was not on the pill (my prescription was out and we had a lapse in health insurance)...ended up with DD

We do this sometimes, condoms rarely, and sometimes nothing. We would welcome another baby though. If I didn't want another I'd opt out of the pull out method.

We did it for 6 years with 100% success rate. I would not, however, have done things that way if I REALLY didnt want to get pregnant.

I hate to admit it, but DH and I used it for the first two years of our marriage (and most of the time we were dating/engaged). I think we were both secretly hoping for an accident....it never happened.

I then went on BC for a couple years...and got pregnant our first month trying.

We will not, however, be returning to this method. I've never been so terrified of getting pregnant in my life!

We did this for quite some time, and it never failed us. As soon as we stopped using that method, we got twins... first try. Not a fan of the pill, it gives me horrid headaches. Now we use condoms. NO babies for us any time soon

DH doesn't seem to care about condoms, so it's the easiest/cheapest way to go for us!

DH and I used this our whole relationship until we TTC. We've had PP sex once and used it but being extra fertile now from being PG I don't think we'll do it again.

We did this for nearly 5 years along with the calendar method and we didn't get pregnant until we wanted to.

This is all that me and my husband do...worked so far...our two kids were planned so no need to use the method...we will use a more effective form of birth control when we are completely done having kids!

DH and I used this for 4 years with no pregnancies. When we were ready to get pregnant - it happened on the first try. I'm nervous, but think this is what we will do again.

Ryan is either a pull and pray baby or a charting to avoid baby. My charts looked like crap and never showed ovulation, but we used the pull and pray "method" as backup. See siggy pic Big Smile
