s/o SAHW

If you are a SAHM, how long do you plan to be one? Will you go back to work at sometime or will you become a SAHW?

    That's what I did at first too, but eventually we worked it out so I could SAH. It is getting tougher now that we're paying my tuition (couple classes a semester) and DS's preschool, but we'll make it.

  • I WAH right now but I plan to start working on my doctorate degree this year and will go find a new job to put it to use once all of our kids are at least in kindergarten all day. I have no desire to be a SAHW or to WAH for the rest of my life.

    That's what I did at first too, but eventually we worked it out so I could SAH. It is getting tougher now that we're paying my tuition (couple classes a semester) and DS's preschool, but we'll make it.

    I will probably SAH full time after our cars are paid off and we finish the Dave Ramsey plan. I would eventually like to do real estate part-time.
