The coke bottles with "You could be a winner" caps. Back in the day, it just said under the cap - winner. Or loser. Now it gives me all these numbers to collect and look up online.

Right. Not going to happen. I have probably won a billion dollars by now and have no idea. Or at least a free coke.

I think about this every time I open a bottle of soda with that type of game. Same goes for boxes of cereal, the toy used to be inside but now you have to send away for them. Booo.

Exactly. It's actually a pretty smart marketing idea. I'm one of those who can't be bothered to go online and check for prizes either.
