I work at a daycare in the heart of the city, and TONS of people bring their kids there. We never close. The whole city is pretty much shutting down tomorrow because of snow, but unless a State of Emergency is declared, we will be open. I am jealous of all of you who get snowdays. Anyone else stuck going to work like me?
Re: Snow Day-Proof Workplaces
DH is a police officer so he never gets snow days. Although, the storm went through St. Louis last night and *only* dumped 5 inches on us
I just told DH how much I want a snow day.
Unfortunately, I live in a warm climate :P
Up here, things rarely close for snow (cause we get so darn much of it all.the.time).
I can't remember the last snow day, state of emergency or not. Maybe in 2003.
