My dad threw my older sister out of the house for 3 days once for cussing (She was 16 and I was 13).  I've never forgotten that, and I've also never cussed as a result.

I am awful with it.  I am trying to stop so that DS doesn't start repeating me.  I work with a bunch of guys and have picked up their bad habit.

SO's family thinks that they can't have a conversation without at least 3 cuss words.  I told them that if they do that around DS then I would slowly stop coming around with him much.  They think I'm kidding, but I'm not.  I hate cuss words.  I sound like a B right now (yes, that is what I would say IRL is , but that is my BIGGEST pet peeve!

This has been my most recent concern! I swear like a sailor, especially if I hurt myself, or when I'm driving (wicked road rage). I'm just so used to being by myself and I let them swears fly! I think the "f" word will be DS first word! Yikes!

never in front of Griffin or when working- i can turn it off really easily (used to be a teacher - i have a switch, lol).  But i do swear in front of DH, the babies (for now) and will type them in my posts on here

I want to stop so much. I swear mostly when I am angry or frustrated - which is not so bad, except that these days, I am angry or frustrated the majority of the time.

I don't want X to hear those words from me.

Its my terrible habit. I can turn it off pretty well, and I dont swear in front of my family, and i try not to in front of people i just met until they swear, I dont want to offend anyone, but in the car or in the house i let loose. I am terrified Drew is going to have a dirty mouth, so we are trying to cut back when he is around!
