Black Carrier/Slings? Hot?

Just curious, but if you go with black or dark color for a carrier/sling, does that get hot for LO and you?  D.C. area summers can get pretty toasty.  I tend to gravitate to black but maybe I shouldn't?  Just curious if anyone had an idea.  Thanks.

    Black is only hot when it's exposed to sunlight and I'm thinking you'll try to be out of direct sunlight with your LO most of the time anyway.  Don't think it's a problem, I'm asking for a black one.

    We have a black Beco we used with DD and it didn't create too much heat.  I'm not sure I ever even noticed it being warmer.  But it also probably breathes better than a synthetic might.
