Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

What time is bedtime for your LO?

And what is their age?

DS is 18 mos and is generally in bed by 8:30pm.  I wish it was earlier though.  I see some have their LOs in bed at 6:30pm.  I'm curious how long they sleep.

DS is awake by 5:45-6am.  It sucks!

  • DS is 14 months old and goes to bed at 7:30PM and is up by 5:30 or 6AM. I have tried putting him down earlier in hopes he would sleep in a bit  and he just screams.

Some nights are more sucessful than others for them going down in a timely manner.

  • 8PM and I wake her up M-F at 7AM, on the weekends she sleeps until 8:30AM
  • 7pm, at the latest.  He sleeps until about 6:30-7 (dodging things being thrown at me).  He's always been a great sleeper...he is a bear without it.  He's 18 months.

:praying to God that he will not curse me with a horrible sleeper the next time around for typing the above:

  • My DD is a little over a year old. We don't have a specific bedtime. She is usually down between 8-10 pm, but I'd say the average is probably 8:30.
  • 7 to 7:15 p.m.  We have to wake her at 7:15 a.m. during the week for daycare.  She's 14 months.
  • We are in the transitioning process to move her to 8.  She hasn't been going down easily all of a sudden and she was waking up occasionally.  It has been a fight the last few weeks.  The pedi suggested moving her bedtime to 8 instead of 9.  She went down at 8:45 last night and it was great.  Tonight is 8:30 so we will see if it's still good!

ETA: She is 18 months and wakes up about 7:30 to leave for DC.

  • 9pm , almost 2 years old. always has gone to bed at 9pm and slept for 10-12 hours no matter what.
  • 8 pm @ 22 months old.  But this has been her bedtime forever (like since 3 months old).

She wakes up once at 5:00 or 5:30- she nurses and goes right back to bed.  Its going to suck come weaning time, but for now it's nice!

We don't even get home until 7ish!  DD's bedtime is 9:30 to 10.  We sort of wake her at 6:30 am to go to grandma's house, but she falls asleep shortly in the car, and sleeps until 10 or 11 am at grandma's.

  • Lately she has been going to bed between 9:30 and 10 and waking between 7:30 and 8.

  • Usually 7ish.  Sometimes as early as 6:30, sometimes as late as 7:30.  He sleeps until about 7:15-8.  The key is not letting him get overtired.  He sleeps more fitfully and rises earlier if he gets overtired.  He'll be 15 months in 5 days.
