Another 3-6month find...

Two questions:

1. Did/Do you have a preference for sex for DC#1...and was the outcome what you thought it'd be?

2. Do you have a preference for the sex of DC#2 (if you are having more than one).

Matt wanted a boy and I didn't care either way. This was DC#2 for him.

For #2 I am torn. I would like to experience having a son but would love for Lyla to have a sister. I guess I will be happy for either.

1. I honestly and truly did not care what the sex was...but I have to admit when the u/s tech told us most definitely girl I was very thrilled that I got my girl because I am a girly girl and wanted to buy all the pretty things.  As for was the outcome what I thought...no..mothers intuition had told me it was a boy...my intuition isn't very good obviously  

2. I'm torn on it.  Part of me wants my little quarterback and since my brother isn't having any more kids I wouldn't mind giving my parents a grandson.  The other part of me wonders what it would be like to raise two girls...you always hear about sisters being so close and stuff I think that would be fun.

For #1 of course it didn't matter...but I knew from Day 1 that J was a boy, just a feeling I had.

For #2, obviously I would love to have a girl, but when the time comes it won't matter either way

With #1, both DH and I wanted a girl. He had said that he wanted a girl from the very beginning but I was convinced it was a boy. (For some reason I always thought I would have all boys.) Still, DH said he wanted a brunette, blue-eyed baby girl and that is exactly what he got!

In a perfect world, if we could plan what we had next we would love to have another little girl so that K has a little sister. My only sibling is a sister and I would love for K to have that kind of relationship with her sibling. DH also wants another girl. I'm sure we'd love whatever we get though, whenever we do get pg again. That will be a long, long way off from now.

I really, honestly and truly would love to have one of each, so I'm hoping for a girl if the good Lord so chooses to bless us with another child.

I am glad we had a boy first because I come from the land of older brothers. I think all girls need a big bro....well, at least I loved it anyway.  It just didn't have to be so many though (3, all older) and I always wished I had a sister.

I of course would be happy with a boy or a girl, but I did always want an older brother so I would love a boy first. Dh agrees because he wants to carry on his last name.

I really wanted a girl, DH wanted a boy. When we found out it was a girl, DH seemed to forget he wanted a boy.

I kinda think I want a boy for round 2. I would love for DD to have a sister, but I just have a feeling it will be a boy. In fact, I am thinking the next go `round will be twins. It runs in my family.

Then a little sister

Then maybe either one

We don't care either way really we just want a baby.
