My LO dropped his 2nd nap about 2 weeks ago. He wakes up at 730 and usually would go for a 1030 and 400 nap..but now that he has dropped his second, I am wondering if I should start making the morning one later. He barely made it to 7 pm last night. What time do you put your LO down for his nap and how long is it usually?
Re: Nap Question!! If your LO takes only 1..
Wakes up at 6:30, takes his nap between 12:30 and 1:00. If we're out running errands in teh morning, he'll take a 10 minute power nap.
Just keep him really occupied in the morning until he gets used to it and you'll be able to slowly push his naptime later.
DS wakes between 7 and 8am.
Nap is at 1:30, after lunch.
Sleeps 'til 4.
Bedtime at 7:30 (depending on the day--this is what we aim for).

DS goes down for a nap between 12 and 1 pm. He typically naps for 2-3 hours.
He dropped to 1 nap at 10 months. At the time, he dropped his second nap, and he was also napping at 10 am. I slowly pushed the nap back to 11 am and then to 12 pm. I think I moved it 15 minutes a day or something? I had to make sure that we were out doing something exciting at his normal nap time so that he wouldn't accidentally fall asleep.
ETA: He gets up at 8 and goes to bed at 8.
She's up at 7am, naps 12:30-2:00, bedtime at 7pm. Sometimes she naps longer than 1.5hrs but it's rare.
when we went to 1 a day, her nap was at about 11, then moved back to 12. 8pm bedtime, 7-8am wake up.
imo, i would try to push it back a little at a time. if he's not interested in that, then i'd follow his lead on the times and let him go to bed at 7.
At first--DD was waking up at 7:30, I would feed her lunch at 11, she would nap for about 2 hours, and be in bed by 7. She eventually puched everything back.
Now she wakes up at 730, eats lunch at 12, naps from 1:30-3:30 and goes to bed at 8:30.
The transition is rough and the times will change for a month or so before he is on a set schedule again. It will get better!
FWIW--DD transitioned just before her 1st birthday.
