I dont get it...I just dont get it!

I am on "Most Recent" and not top news. my first post was from an hour ago. I updated a pic and when I came back to the home page, I had about 15 new posts from various people...okay, fine. I go checkout someone's page, and come back and all 15 of those posts are gone! wtf?

I am still on "most recent" and I remember it saying "posted a few seconds ago" or "3 minutes ago"

I keep refreshing and nothing. 

I am bored and FB and the bump are all I have right now...damnit!

How is your DD doing?

DD has level III kidney reflux and is starting her antibiotics tonight.  We have a referral for a urologist.  I know you said your DD has level V.  Did you ever take your DD to see a urologist?

ha ha! that is the other window I have open right now!  I usually have to keep clicking the "news feed" button to get it to update.  I hate it too!!

Yeah that is pretty annoying. And I hate how the home button is now on the right and not the left where it was. So when I have to click home I keep going to the left. Annoying. I also don't like the notifications being up top.

Kayley is okay, I guess. We did see a urologist and he said that she is stage 3 on one side and stage 4 on the other...no surgery! He said that surgery is only something they will do if treatment does not work. Since she has been on meds since her UTI back at christmas, as long as she doenst get more infections no surgery! He said she will probably grow out of it.

He wanted to do another test to make sure she doesn't have kidney scaring (scary!) I just scheduled that for March 8th. I am not sure if this is something that is normal to do, or if he is worried she has kidney damage. I was very aware that I wanted to ask, but got scared of his answer and didn't. He said that this will be a baseline as to the course of treatment they will take with her, but he was adamant on no surgery, so I think I am okay.

Kayley has been a perfect little angle throughout this whole thing...he said the reflux does not hurt her, so she is fine. I'm happy to know that urinary reflux doenst hurt, b/c acid reflux sure does (okay, bad joke!)

Thanks for asking. what antibiotic did they put your LO on?

Hope the tests come back normal!

They put her on prophylaxis.  Did she have fluid in her kidneys by chance? The doc that did the test for reflux said she had some fluid in her left kidney but that it was normal since she has reflux.

I'm glad she doesn't need surgery!!!

they are testing the kidneys b/c when she got her UTI she had a kidney infection too. I dont know if they are worried there is more to the problem, or if the UTI was just bad that it got to the kidneys too. No one has said there is a problem with the kidneys other than that she had a kidney infection that one time. I am hoping this is routine, this test.

is your LO going to be on the meds and pending no more UTIs they will just do another VCUG later?

I haven't seen the urologist yet but from what the pedi said, she'll be on the meds and every 6 months have another VCUG.  She said she will probably outgrow it over time and that if she doesn't by the time she's 2/3 years old then they'll take her off meds since she can better communicate when she's feeling sick.

Did they tell you to bring her in to the pedi any time she has a fever of over 100? My pedi told me this and I'm going to get a written confirmation from her.  Just wondering if she's being really conservative or if this is standard.

Why does FB change their layout every few months?  I'm sure there will be a "I hate the new FB layout" group on FB by tonight with thousands of members!

I like how every time they change the layout it says "new simplified version," when it was pretty foolproof to begin with.

new FB sucks! it has been aver an hour and I cant get any updates...still the same ones as before. I have logged out and back in, refreshed...I dont know what else to do.

Mavila- I was told that any fever Kayley gets I have to take her to the ER, but this is because of how sick she got last time (fever went up to 104). The urologist said that is not necessary, but the dr is the one that said it, so I think I'll stick with the drs orders on that one.
