Where do you keep your stroller?

This may seem like a stupid question, but where in the house do you keep it? We're house hunting, and most of the older homes we've seen don't have a coat closet or mudroom or anything, so I can't figure out where we'd keep the stroller. I guess we'd have to lug it up and down stairs.

Re: Where do you keep your stroller?

  • We fold it closed and keep it in LO's bedroom closet.
  • Loading the player...
  • In the trunk of our car.
  • In my trunk, so I always have it with me.  & it's easy to pull out when we go for walks.
  • Ours usually stays in the trunk of our SUV... but we'll store it in the garage when it starts warming up so we can have it readily available to go for walks.
  • I keep the single stroller in the way-back of my car.  Larger double is in the garage (we do not keep a car in the garage... too many bikes, wagons, strollers, etc.!)
  • In the van, or in the corner of the living room. I we had a garage we'd keep it there.

This! its definitely easy access to grab when going for walks instead of lugging it in and out the hosue each time.

  • We keep ours folded closed in a corner in the kitchen. Sounds weird I know, but the door we go in and out of is off the kitchen so it's just easier to keep it handy!

  • IN our trunk but once he outgrows the infant seat the toddler seat is HUGE and will take up too much space. It'll go into our mudroom closet after that. =)
  • Okay, great! I was thinking this would be a huge PITA, but maybe not so much. I'm still getting used to the logistics of suburbia Smile

yep . this for us too

  • It's in the garage right now.  We never use it, lol.  Okay, we've used it three times.  I'd much rather wear him.  I think buying a stroller was the biggest waste of money ever.

  • I just keep it in the spare bedroom. We pretty much use that room for storage. I drive a jeep and it doesnt fit so the only time I use it is when SO comes home with the corolla, If I had the corolla id probably just keep it in the trunk.

It was in the garage but we have bugs since its Florida you cant get away from them, and I get freaked out thinking bugs are nesting in there.

  • I have a Jeep Wrangler so it doesn't fit in there! I haven't used a stroller since I went back to work. When I was off I kept it in the spare bedroom and used it for walks but now when we go places it is just way easier to wear her.
  • In the trunk or garage

    This or in our garage.

  • In the trunk or in the garage. Easy access.. I wouldn't even consider storing it anywhere else! Well, once we're done using the larger stroller, that will go into storage in the basement. But we use them and alternate between different strollers for different purposes (travel system, double, umbrella) so often that we keep all 3 in the garage.

  • I keep it in my trunk. I use it often too. Pretty much anytime we go in places i'll be walking around for 20+ minutes. It's a pain to carry her carrier that long and if I hold her that long she gets fussy.
  • which one?? ugg we have 3.  Umbrella stroller is hanging in the coat closet, jogger is in the storage unit (we live in a condo) and travel system lives in the trunk or in the foyer, its kinda an eyesore, but we are low on space.

  • We don't have a garage and the house is carpeted. Once we start using it it'll stay in the car or down in the rec room where I don't mind having a little extra dirt. Right now it's in the corner of my bedroom, unfolded in all it's glory :P
  • it hasn't been in the house since the first time we used it.  it stays in the trunk of the car.
  • We haven't used the stroller yet, so it is sitting in one of the downstairs closets.  When we start using it, I will probably keep it in the trunk of my car.

  • We keep it in our front hallway. There's no place for it other than the garage and I'm not leaving it out there. We have space against the wall in the hallway.
