my house is making some seriously messed up noises. banging and such. i'm getting pretty freaked out but am way too freaked to check it out. pretty much sounds like someone is either throwing very large rocks at my house, a gun going off, or the roof collapsing.

    Is there snow on the roof that is melting?  Everytime house noisies freak me out, it it always melting snow on the roof.

    it's possible. probably the stuff refreezing. it snowed earlier, then melted a bit but there is still plenty there. i think after this winter we might have to re-do the shingles. after sucking it up and scouting, everything seems to be ok. no foot prints in the snow, nothing collapsed...

    i am so ready for mh to get home
