Swaddle too tight?

Do you think you can make the swaddle too tight? DD can break out of almost every swaddle blanket. We have the best luck with the swaddlemes but when I pull the velcro tabs really tight, she acts like she is really uncomfortable. I don't want to crush her in the swaddle but when I loosen it, she breaks out. Just wondering how tight you swaddle your LOs.

If she busts through maybe it's time to wean her from it? Or does she wake up right away? I stopped swaddling my DD when she was getting out of them right away every night.

Another thought, the Swaddle Me blankets are sized. Maybe she needs the next size up.

We switched from the swaddle me to the miracle blanket around 3 months because he wasn't ready to be unswaddled yet. It worked great and we just stopped swaddling last week.

I switched to the miracle blanket too.  LO is still able to break out occasionally, but she sleeps so much better when she is swaddled so I haven't stopped yet.

No, you cannot swaddle too tight. Unless you plan on weaning soon, get a Miracle Blanket.
