Adoption

I wish i knew someone with embryos ready to donate

We are currently in the midst of a private adoption but as we all know nothing is certain.... and because of that i am like having an ulcer!!! i know i need to be patient, and i am really trying!!! Bm is justso hard to read sometimes and she is wishy washy with other stuff and sometimes is really reassuring but not other times, and i know this isnt easy for her at all and i understand that....

i wish i had a forsure option.... but i dont. and families aren't allowed to be in more than one adoption program at a time so we cant pursue embryo adoption through and agency at the same time.. it would be nice to know someone privately who would donate and we could skip agency guidelines and know that we will end up with a baby soon!! I am just having a really hard time with all of this and really lonely(i have dh so thats good!!)

  • Hang in there. We were ready to walk several times during our uncertain journey. We now have DD home and could not think of walking away.
  • A frozen embryo transfer is definitely not a sure thing (average success rate is about 20-40%), and the two week wait to find out if it took is torture.
