Success after IF

Seattle RE Recs

Hi Ladies,

I am hopping over from the IF board, hope you don't mind!  I just finished up my 4th IUI and am looking at doing 2 more IUIs before moving on to IVF.  If the IUIs don't work I am debating switching clinics before moving on to IVF.  I was thinking of trying Pacific Northwest Fertility, has anyone had any experience with this clinic?  Thoughts?  Recommendations?

TIA!

Re: Seattle RE Recs

  • I've never heard of them. I use and have had good experiences with Northwest Center for Reproductive Sciences. I use their Kirkland office, but they have them in Seattle, too. I also know a few people who used Overlake Reproductive something or other in Bellevue with good results (a couple of whom are on this board), but I went with NWCRS because they seemed like a better fit for me personally and their IVF success rates were the best in the area. Good luck!

  • My best friend from my school days used Seattle Reproductive Medicine.  They seemed to be professional; she was moving from a doctor who was most definitely not.  She had twin boys in November after her first cycle with them back in April. :)  I wish you the best!

  • I had a great experience at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.  I went there for donor egg IVF but I would imagine that the experience would have been similar for standard IVF.  The office is really organized and the staff supportive. I saw several doctors; mine was Dr. Lin and he was fine - very business oriented.  That was exactly what DH and I needed at the time since we had been through IVF with our eggs 4 times and just wanted to get to "pregnant" as soon as possible.

Dr. Dudley did our transfer and he had much more of a gentle bedside manner - perfect for transfer.  I really liked him.  I also saw Dr. Klein for an u/s and she was super too. I would go back to any of them.

The office in Seattle is just lovely too.  Not that it should make a huge difference, but it is super modern and it is clear that they use all of the most up to date equipment and techniques.

Feel free to page me with any other questions!

  • I go to Overlake Reproductive Health in Bellevue.  We had success on our first IVF there, so we're back trying again.  There are now two docs there, Dr. Johnson who founded the practice and Dr. Rehman who started a little over two years ago.  Dr. Rehman is very nice, but I have a preference for Dr. Johnson because of his experience and knowledge about endo.  That was why we selected the clinic.  I'm also a big fan of their lab technicians, in case you're heading toward IVF.  GL!
