How Many Days After Last BCP Do You Start Stims?

For an IVF cycle?  And how many days after last BCP does AF usually come?  You start stims on CD2/3?  Sorry if these are dumb questions.  I'm sure they'll go over all this at my orientation tomorrow but I'm just trying to figure out scheduling...

I'm on the luteal (long) lupron protocol & I started my period a few days after my last pill & started stims on day 3 of my cycle. Of course, not everyone starts then, it depends on your suppression check too - they want to make sure you have been sufficiently suppressed & also that you don't have any cysts or anything. HTH.

I got AF 4ish days after the last BCP. You can start stims on CD 2&3, it just depends on your protocol and the Dr. If you are on Lupron they can start you any CD pretty much. I have been on Lupron for a few weeks on "hold" b/c they are re-doing the lab. I start stims Wed. There are so many questions when you are first getting started, no worries!

I started stims on CD36, I started BCP on CD3.

I got AF about 3 days after last pill, then started stims (Follistim) on CD3.

Depends on your protocol - tomorrow you'll meet with a nurse after the classroom session to map out a calendar.

For me, it's always 3 days after my last BCP (overlapping with Lupron), and then I started my stims on cd 3.

It depends on your protocol.

For IVF #1 I did long lupron and stopped BCP a week or so before starting stims.  I did BCP, a week of BCP and Lupron, and a week of just Lupron prior to start.  My period was about 12 hours long and super light.

For IVF #2  I did Antagonist and went directly from BCP to stims.  I went 3 days BCP free prior to starting stims.  I didn't get a period at all but my RE said that was fine.
