I think that I am having a circus party for DS' 2nd bday. I like to have my menu kind of *go* with my theme. Any ideas? All I have come up with so far are corn dogs, funnel cakes and circus peanuts.

Re: What would you serve at a "circus" themed party?
"peanuts, popcorn, Caaaannnddyyy Applleesss"
I don't remember what that's off of, but I always think of that line when someone says circus.
popcorn served in little paper cones?
cotton candy
ummmm, thats all I got
cotton candy
popcorn
nachos
Those are going to be some hopped up kids. Ummmmm... I dunno that's really all I can think of.
I actually bought a popcorn machine last year for his bday party, but renting a cottoncandy machine is a good idea too!

Sebastian's first birthday was circus themed and we served hot dogs (and all the crap that goes along with it chips, dips, etc) had peanuts out (the ones still in the shell and labeled them "Elephant Food"), also had a bunch of Bananas out (labeled "monkey food"), we also had a bunch of candy in different sized jars and bowls.
We rented a cotton candy machine and I think it was the biggest hit!
