What would you serve at a "circus" themed party?

I think that I am having a circus party for DS' 2nd bday. I like to have my menu kind of *go* with my theme. Any ideas? All I have come up with so far are corn dogs, funnel cakes and circus peanuts.

    "peanuts, popcorn, Caaaannnddyyy Applleesss" :) I don't remember what that's off of, but I always think of that line when someone says circus.

    I actually bought a popcorn machine last year for his bday party, but renting a cottoncandy machine is a good idea too!

    My friend just did this for her daughter's party.  She served popcorn and shaved ice treats.  She also did tons of chicken nuggets that were shaped like animals (they were the frozen store brand here).  She gave out those tubs of cotton candy as favors.  She also had those plain animal crackers (not the pink and white iced one) out in little bowls around her living room.  And she had lots of fruit too!

    Sebastian's first birthday was circus themed and we served hot dogs (and all the crap that goes along with it chips, dips, etc) had peanuts out (the ones still in the shell and labeled them "Elephant Food"), also had a bunch of Bananas out (labeled "monkey food"), we also had a bunch of candy in different sized jars and bowls.

    We rented a cotton candy machine and I think it was the biggest hit!

    I did cotton candy, sno cones, hot dogs, homemade corndogs and lemonade. It was one of the best parties I have ever done.
