some chick's kid has a clogged tear duct and i asked her if she had tried putting some breastmilk in his eye and i got a " are you serious?!?"   no, i just think it's funny to tell people to use their boobs as hoses.

When we were on there this was common knowledge, no?  We were smearing it all over them to get rid of baby acne, little cuts, and in their eyes for clogged ducts.

Seriously. My hands are all dry and my cuticles are cracked tyo the point of bleeding, and I commented on how much I missed having BM on tap.

I thought it was. I've used breast milk for clogged tear ducts and when DD's eye started to turn red and goopy - it went away a few hours later and never came back.

P's eyes got horribly swollen and crusty after the stupid drops they gave her in the hospital and everyone, her pedi, my ob, every nurse, kept telling me to squirt milk in her eye.  i barely had colostrum to spare at that point, but it worked once my milk showed up.
