I went to my first OB on Thursday for what I thought we would be a rountine, "Yay you're pregnant, eat healthy, drink lots of water!" appointment.  But, we saw two little heartbeats on the screen!

I am a rollercoaster of emotions.  This is not something my H or I would have thought in our wildest dreams.  I am happy, but completely shocked.  My DS will be 20 months if I go full-term.  3u2!

I am going for my first MFM appointment on Monday to get a closer look at the babies.  My OB said he was a little conerned about baby b's sac.  Now I am just hoping and praying both babies are healthy.

    Congratulations, and welcome to the board!  There are a lot of MoMs with older singletons here.

    All of the emotions are completely normal.  When I found out it was twins, I burst into tears.

    Congratulations!  We didn't find out about our twins until 18 weeks and we've been on the roller coaster ever since.  However, it gets less and less scary as time goes on and easier to enjoy the ups!

    Good luck at the MFM appointment. It sounds like your OB wants you and your babies to get the best care possible.  I'll be hoping for good news for you as well!

    you can do it --- Griffin was 2y2mo when the twins were born - and it hasn't been as insane as I thought it might be. 

    that's good you are seeing an MFM, too... prayers that all is OK!
