I get these too ever since the baby dropped into my pelvis, OB says it's "normal", the stabbing knife in the vag pain can be the cervix thinning/dilating.

My OB said the baby was hitting my cervix and the more pregnancies I have the more intense these feelings will be.
I get the "sharp shooting pains!" They can stop me in my tracks and come at the worst time..... walking in costco. I probably had people wondering why the hell I was grabbing my crotch. All in all I had them with my first and am getting them again.... totally normal. Good luck!
