If you make your own cleaning products...

I have been using 7th generation and Mrs. Meyers for a long time, but am going to start making my own stuff now.

It sounds like a lot of people just use vinegar and water. So do you use a vinegar and water solution on everything?....like counters and floors??

If you don't use vinegar and water solutions, what do you use on counters, floors, bathtub, etc?

Re: If you make your own cleaning products...

  • The vinegar & water solution on just about everything (often w/ some baking soda sprinkled on first for things like sinks/bathtub, etc) except for our hardwood floors (Murphy's oil soap) and toilet bowls (whatever 'green' cleaner happens to be on sale - I dont even know what we have at the moment...).

  • My cleaning system consists of:

a spray bottle with vinegar and water

a spray bottle of water and EF dishwashing liquid

a big spice jar filled with baking soda (and a tiny but of cinnamon for the smell)

I do windows with the vinegar spray and some old newspaper.

I do things like toys with the dishwashing liquid spray.
