Baby Acne and Catnip Tea?

My mom has told me that hives can go in and cause seizures?!? Anyway apparently hives is code for baby acne. So she has decided she will buy catnip tea for LO. Please give me your thoughts/advice.

Do I understand this correctly- your baby has baby acne and your Mom thinks there is some link to baby acne and seizures, so she wants to give the baby (?!) catnip tea?

I wouldn't let her do that, no. Baby acne is not hives.
