Hi Mommy's! I've been here before and yet here I am clueless on simple things. What are the best pads that you have found for PP bleeding? I would like to stock up on them some so I'm not in a bind! Thanks in advance!
I used the hospital pads for the first 2 days when I needed to shove ice packs and everything else down there - you do not realize how bulky they are at that point. When I got home, the bleeding eased up and was no heavier then my normal flow so I just used regular Always pads.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I used what the hospital provided the whole time I was there (c-section), and then I used the Always Infiniti after that. They're super thin and super absorbant.
Kotex overnights because always has the dry weave which can get caught if you have stiches...and who wants to even take the chance of having to deal with that lol

I used the hospital one the first day at the hospital and then switched to Always. Not sure what the name is (infinity, etc..) but they had wings, long, and thin. They worked great!

I would recommend Kotex overnight too....althought take as many from the hospital as you can, those worked well too.

The always superduper overnights - they come in a purple/dark blue package and are huge, but great after you run out of the hospital ones.

This-and I really like them (they are the ultrathin kind). But I'm almost done with them and my bleeding is soooo much less. I have some Carefree ones that I will use (not sure which ones)

The issue I had was I bought the super duper pads and then didn't really need them beyond a few days. Then I just needed a real thin pad and didn't have them and went out and got some. I would recommend having a couple of options (big and thins).
I am using the Stayfree overnight w/wings. My bleeding was only really heavy for the first three days. By the time I left the hospital I was down to a heavy menstrual flow. Now at 8 days PP I am down to a light menstrual flow so they've been perfect for me.
Re: (3rd Tri Q) What is the best Pad for PP bleeding?
This, or any Always pad. Make it the heavy ones.
