I haven't heard much about this company except for great reviews. My dad has a co-worker who has a crib that's about 1 1/2 years old and is looking to sell it for $60.
Just wanted some input from other ladies about the quality of Jenny Lind. TIA!
Jenny Lind isn't a brand..its a style named after a singer.
You can buy a new Jenny Lind with a stationary fixed side (a new thing for this style) rather than drop down for $100.
Delta makes the $100 one, but has nasty reviews. The company, not the crib. Buy this one at BRU, right off the shelf.
Da Vinci makes one for $200 and the company has excellant reviews. Buy this one at Target or Walmart, also right off the shelf.
However, with this particular style of crib I don't think they can really go wrong with them (especially with the new stationary sides - even a poorly rated company). The same style has been replicated from company to company for years. My crib was a Jenny Lind and all my siblings. I wouldn't be surprised if yours was! It was "the crib".

Ha! I didn't actually scroll down to see how long that about was! I don't expect you to read it, unless of course you feel compelled. I was just hoping it was explain why the crib is named after her. She slept in beds that were turned - spindle style - on the posts. The style quickly became popular and elegant...and well..there you go.
My aunt is trying to give me the crib I used when I was a baby (so circa 1982) that is a jenny Lind. They hold up well (but we are still going to get a new one I think)
I purchased the Delta Jenny Lind from BRU and really like it so far. The bad reviews in Baby Bargians are due to a company wide recall for it's drop side cribs, this is no longer a drop side. It took my DH and I about 15 min to put together (very easy). I don't have a baby yet, but we put both of the dogs in there, and it was extremely stable. If you look at BRU now, it has great reviews.
I bought the Delta stationary from BRU. I love how it looks in the nursery, and it does seem really stable. I just couldn't see spending $400 on our crib when I found one I really loved for $130.
