Around here, there aren't really any cheap places, they are all within like $.25 of each other. I feel your pain though, we go though approx 20 (yes, 20) gallons a month so I am spending $70 a month on milk.

2% is usually $2, and Vit D is usually $2.50-$3. I honestly just buy it where ever, it's usually on sale no matter what. Kroger usually has 1/2 gallons for $1 each, and Rite Usually has 2% for $1.99.
If we are in a bind and need milk fast, we usually get it from Walgreens. They sell all varieties for $1.99/gallon. Our grocery store sells it for a little over $2.
In Real Simple Magazine it said that drugstores actually have the cheapest milk. The reason? Because it is their main way of getting you into the store.

You can buy them individually at Sam's. Costco they come in a two pack.
Costco is the cheapest around us.
And we can buy single gallons. Bananas are super cheap here too!
