I've been looking over your blogs this morning, drooling over your home decor.
I knew you had fantastic taste, but wow! I've been in a home decor rut lately, and now I wish you would come decorate my house!
You have inspired me to look for some hard-wired sconces to put on either side of our fireplace now. Oh... and if I didn't have so much darn red in my house, I'd paint my living room green. Fantastic color. So fresh.
Re: **AmandaBrooke**
Awwww, y'all are so sweet! I've always said that if I could get to a point where I could make a good living off being an interior decorator, I'd do it in a heartbeat. It's just fun!
And Lydia, your house looks great
You've done a fantastic job with really cool personal touches {that guest bath rocks!}
So I painted the entryway a glossy red {since I didn't want to paint the door red}, and the dining room is immediately to the left of the entry. I was worried it'd be too Christmas-sy having green and red together, but it's not because of the moulding. Colorful, yes. Christmas-sy, no. I looked at over 70 houses prior to closing on this one in '07 {my poor Realtor earned every penny!}, but I knew for sure that I wanted to try a green dining room.
That really made my day y'all- THANK YOU!!!
