DS has his first appointment with EI tomorrow morning. I'm crazy nervous and can't fall asleep.

I broke up with my BFF from pre-DS days today. She lives 5 minutes from me and has seen DS 4 times. I'm hurt, she doesn't get it.

    Hugs to you on both accounts!  Me and my bff (ds's godmother) never talk anymore and I am just crushed, she also lives 5 mins from us.  We had been bff's since '93 and never thought that a child would make us drift apart, but sadly I must say it has.

    As terrible as this sounds, I just can't wait until she has a child of her own and it finally clicks. I just can't understand how your closest friend can have a child and not care at all.
