I usually do a big green salad or a marinated veggie salad (tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumber, onions, mushrooms, bell peppers with zesty italian dressing.)
I'd do a big green salad with carrots, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, maybe even some broccoli florets. Avacado, green onions...whatever looks good at the store.
I usually do meatloaf (you can use left overs for sandwiches too!). I'm making it tonight and will be having it with chicken. I just flour the chicken and fry it in olive oil and then add white wine and cover and let simmer. I'll make a veggie or two to go with it. I'm thinking maybe deviled eggs too since the whole family is coming over and everyone likes them and they are easy to make. It also goes well with ham.

Since it is kind of heavy I'd go with lean ham and green salad.
That's what I was going to suggest. Or maybe those nice skinny little green beans (haricot verts) instead of salad.
