GBS question

I have my GBS thing tomorrow. ?Will they do an internal also? ?I've been having a ton of contractions, and although I'm still early (my ticker has me 5 days further than I am)... I just want to make sure I'm not progressing quite yet.

Did your doc do an internal when you had your GBS test thing?

Mine does not. Mine doesn't do internals if there isn't a medical reason.

Yeah, I know it means nothing. ?That's why I've never had one in my previous pregnancies... but with all these contractions.. I just wonder if they are doing anything.?

I had my GBS swab done last week and she asked since she's already down there if I wanted an internal. I didn't expect her to do one, but I had her to do because I was curious. You could always ask!

Test for Group B Strep in the anus and vaj with a swab.

Nope, just stuck in the swab

Nope. Just a quick swab and I was done. My doctor is not to keen on internals without a medical reason. So, I don't know if I will be getting one done at all.
