Induction Scheduled

Sorry I haven't been posting much, but I feel like the last month or so snuck up on me and have been busy trying to get everything ready. I went for my 39 week appointment today. Everything still looks perfect, total weight gain 33.5 lbs, 120/80 bp, measuring right at 39 weeks. Still no progress though. My doctor said that he will be out of town the week after next, and said that he wants to see me on Tuesday 2/9 and if I'm still hanging in there then he will induce Tuesday night. I am excited, but a bit nervous, I never thought I would actually have my baby girl on her due date. He seems confident that with everything going so smoothly that she will be ready and weigh right around 8lbs, and doesn't see any point in waiting any longer. I am still kind of hoping she decides to come on her own between now and then, but am glad that I know that no matter what I will be a mommy a week from today!!!

So exciting! We have 2 Alabama Babies coming in the next week! So much to be thankful for...hang in there...she still has time to come on her own!

I know, I got so excited when I saw baby Wilo is coming on Saturday!!!

Thanks for the encouragement, I got a little weepy when he told me he was going to go ahead and induce, but I don't want anyone else to deliver her, so I am happy he warned me.
