shower up and wait

I've been pretty lazy. It's cold here and if I don't need to go outside I don't really. But now I'm full term, I shower, do my hair and make up everyday... Then just sit around and wait for my water to break. When it doesn't..I do the same thing the next day. How bad is it that I don't want to shower, but don't want that one day I'm not ready lo decide to come

:-). This made me laugh. I guess I shower sometime during the day and always do my hair too. Maybe tomorrow I'll even do my makeup...then sit and wait. I have nothing to do in my waiting time.

LOL!  I said something similar to DH the other day.  I do my hair every other day (I have naturally curly hair and I always straighten it).  I told DH I was afraid of going into labor w/o having done my hair so I'm really trying to keep it done all the time.  We're so vain!  :P

LOL! we're in the same boat. Due a day apart... Think this will be the longest week of my life. Would've like that whole nesting thing to kick in,but it never did. The house really isn't bad at all anyway....

Aww, I'm sorry, that made me laugh! At least you have the motivation to shower and do hair and makeup still. I've been so lazy lately I've been putting off shaving my legs for over a week now and my lady parts for a looong time. I was going to do it yesterday but decided to put it off another day and when I went in for my doctors appt, they decided to do the GBS test a week early. Embarassing. Had I known this I surely would have taken care of things...

Ha! This is hilarious because I've thought the same thing. I'm not quite full term yet, but I quit my job last week and it is cold and gross here and I have no motivation to shower and get ready. Last night I had the stomach flu and I was worried I was going to have to go to L&D for dehydration, but I didn't shower yesterday. Needless to say I took a shower at 6am this morning:)

I honestly can't tell you all how hilarious this is and how relieved I am that I'm not the only one who thinks or feels this way. I'm back in school and I scheduled all my classes online this semester for obvious reasons (and I think even that was a little ambitious.) But I have NO motivation to do anything or go anywhere. However, when it comes time to taking pictures in the hospital with my new little man - showered, makeup done and hair straightened please

I do the same thing! I am so tired and lazy and totally don't want to make myself up, but I know that Murphy's law the one day I don't and look like crap is the day I go into labor!
