I'm SO confused, too! love it! So, when they show scenes from the island, did that technically never happen since whatever they did worked and the plane landed?

I am now more confused than ever. How did it work? They have 2 lives going now?
There is some podcast from the writers/producers. They're not traveling sideways, I guess. It's kind of like an alternate ending so you can have a glimpse of whether their lives really would have been better if they hadn't been on the island and you can see how many of them would have "touched" each others lives anyway.
I thought it was great, answered quite a few questions for me. Looks like it was part of Jacob's plan all along. Can't wait to see what he has up his sleeve. I wonder if Sayid is "possessed" by Jacob, like "Flocke" is possessing Locke. Oh, and I love how Hurley know recognizes he really can talk to dead people!
I think the characters are living two parallel lives. Juliet asking Sawyer to get coffee was in an alternate life in which the bomb detonated and the plan didn't crash. It that life "It worked."
I think Desmond is time-traveling again. That's how he showed up on the plane when he wasn't originally on it and then disappeared.
I think Richard was originally a slave on the Black Rock -- that's why fake Locke talked about him being in chains.
I loved the "nothing's irreversible" line and how Jacob keeps telling everyone they "have a choice."

this is pretty much what I got from it. On one of the spoiler sites, they said at the end when Sayid was resurrected that his voice sounded like just like Charlie's. I listened to it like 3-4 times and I could totally hear it. Which, I am not sure had to go with the power of suggestion.

That is Naveen Andrews natural speaking voice, but I definitely heard it too. I guess we will see next week if it was just a "slip".
Anyone else wonder how it worked with Aaron (being one of the 'six that were rescued') not being on the plane?
Which plane? Ajira 316 or the alternate universe 815 we saw last night? We didn't get a close enough look at Claire in the Taxi last night to tell whether or not she was pregnant in the alternative universe.
I have a theory that Aaron is somehow Jacob. They kind of look alike too.

I guess the one that was supposed to on the way to Guam. Didn't Ben say that in order for their plan to work they all had to go back to the island?

Yeah, but you can't really believe anything Ben says.

Didn't they show Claire on the plane? She was definitely pregnant on the AU 815.
Re: Lost *spoilers for last night's epi*
I guess so. This site has some good theories:

Best line from one of the online LOST message boards:
"Ankh if you love Jacob."
LOL!!
LMAO!
