How long for amoxicillan to kick in?

I have a raging sinus infection and I am miserable.  I finally got meds today.  Took first dose about 2pm and will take second dose before bed.  I'm wondering if there is any chance I'll have any relief by morning or do I have to have more doses in my system for improvement?  Today was miserable and I can't imagine all day with DS by myself tomorrow if I don't feel better.  And no, unfortunately, we don't have any family here or any friends who don't work and could help me out tomorrow.

I'm not sure about amoxicillin, but I had antibiotics with mastitis.  I too the first dose in the late afternoon and felt almost 100% by morning!  I mean, I went from not even being able to sit up unassisted to going back to work in less than 24 hours.  I hope the antibiotic works quickly for you!
