Update to "I need help"

Last night I flipped out at DH because of our taxes. Lame I know! I don't even know why I yelled at him, I'm the one filing them.

After I stompped off and calmed down I came back and told him we need to talk. I told him I think I may have PPD and that him not helping me out around the house is making me resent him big time.

Today I went out to lunch with my mom and aunt for our birthdays. When I got home he had cleaned and done dishes and was giving the dog a bath. I still need to see a doctor but it felt like a thousand pounds had been lifted off my shoulders. Ahhh!

So how did you guys find a doctor? Did you just pick one? Have your OB refer you? I REALLY don't know where to go from here but I know I need help.

My OB/family doc referred me when I asked him at my son's checkup....he gave me a list of a few he has recommended and then I checked that against my insurance list.

Good for your dh! He sounds like he's willing to help/support you - that's great!

As pp said - call your ob, s/he can refer you to a doc.
