Hey there!  Just wanted to check in and see how your interview went.  did you hear anything back yet?

Hey momma!!  I haven't heard anything back yet. 

The girl I know that works on the team already said that the hiring manager "loooooooooved me" & that the guy that was with her for the interview is ticked he doesn't have any openings on his team.  So I am hoping that is a REALLY good sign.  They said they would have a decision by the end of this week.  So keep your fingers crossed for me!!!  Where is all the parking for that area?  does it suck?  I have only parked in visitors so I don't even know where I would go if I were to get this job.  GAH!  now I have that song from A Chorus Line in my head "God, I hope I get it,  I hope I get it"

That is awesome!   And that's sweet they're letting you know so quickly!  ::crossing fingers for you::  When you work over on this side of Asylum, we'll definitely have to meet for lunch or something. 

Parking is actually not as bad as I expected.  I get here early - usually around 7:15 - and I can almost always get a spot really close to the building.  The only thing that's annoying is that it's pretty impossible to leave and come back during the day.  I left once at some random time not even near lunchtime and someone was waiting for my space before I even unlocked my car!

I have to try to negotiate better hours.  They started this "set hours" crap in that department & they are 8 - 5!!!  Ugh!!  I have been doing the 7 - 3:30 shift for years now so that will be a huge change for me.  I am going to see if I can do 7:30 to 4:30... that way I can beat most of the traffic there.  I fear having to park in that far lot & have to take the shuttle in.

yes, definitely see if you can change your schedule.  from what I hear the hooper shuttle isn't that bad, though.  some people I know opt to park there when it's cold because you just hop on the warm shuttle and it drops you off right in front of the buildling.  You might be fine in the regular lots if you get in a little before 8.  that will be tough working until 5, though!  ugh.  set hours are LAME!
