Lunch at work

What do you ladies take for lunch everyday.  I usually take leftovers or a sandwich with chips, chocolate and a coke (I KNOW...its awful).  I'm the only one in the teachers lounge that isn't eating a salad.  If you would please share you ideas and menus on your lunch choice, I would greatly appreciate it!  TIA!  :)

  • I would like to know too! I want to get away from the sandwich and chips.

    TIA

  • Leftovers, and then usually throw in some greens for a quick "salad" side. If I don't have leftovers I'll buy something near work.

I have enough trouble with dinner, I'm not planning anything for lunch on top of it!

  • Usually left overs or a simple salad. I buy those prewashed, mixed salad bags, then I bring some chicken to add to it. I have olive oil and balsalmic vinegar and a red wine vingear at work to use as dressing.
  • leftovers, soup, peanut butter sandwich, hummus and naan (or pita bread)
  • Usually leftovers!  I try to make one bigger meal on Sunday or Monday that we can take for lunches for the week.  If there are no leftovers, I take a turkey sandwich, tuna salad, or a pb&j.  I always take at least two pieces of fruit to work with me, along with a yogurt, and a granola bar or vanilla wafers or something like that.

  • I'm boring but I usually have a turkey and cheese sandwich, apple, string cheese, 100 cal pak of something sweet, and a diet Dr. Pepper.
  • Sometimes frozen pizza.  More often yogurt because it's easy.  Other times, just leftovers.  I rarely make my lunch.  I probably will do better when the kids are making theirs!

  • Usually leftovers, soup, or a lean cuisine meal. Sometimes I just eat cheese and crackers and/or fruit.
