    Sorry $30 a day for 7 hours, but it would be that price if it was longer hours. Not sure how much for shorter hours.

    Can I ask where you go, or at least what city you live in? My quotes have all been around $70 a day for in home, $90/day for centers.

    Wow. Seriously. I could totally afford $30-50/day, I've been really concrened about the $70-100/day...I need to find something like that. I live in S Minneapolis though and that's probably why...my husband works in Stillwater. I may look out there and see if we can find something more reasonable priced.

    We pay $40/day, 3 full days/week.  Some licensed providers charge a crazy amount for part-time infants because they take up a full infant slot (unless they can fill the other days).  When we were looking we were getting from $40-$65/day.  Keep looking!  There are tons of great licensed (and unlicensed) in-home daycares!  We found craigslist a good place to start looking.
