Hi! I've been completely MIA this week because I was out of town for work for 4 days and then came back to close on our house and move all weekend!! So - if I could have one day completely to myself, I would hire a maid to finish unpacking for me and to clean my house and I would sleep:)

If I had a day to myself I would go the the spa and get a massage or facial, then come home and relax on the couch and not watch the Sprout channel. I used to go all the time when I was single, I havent gone to the spa since I was prego.  Two more weeks till the hubby gets home, hmmm I think I will plan this day to myself!!!!

SLEEP.  I would sleep in with no alarm clock.  I would get a pedi, do a little shopping, and then come home and curl up with a chick book.  The house would already be clean and all the bills/work would be done so I could actually enjoy that time.

 Updates:  We finally turned around B's carseat, he's eating meals at the table with a plate, he'll walk down the steps if he holds our hand, and he can now climb on the couch.  When did my baby become a boy????

And I had hard time deciding on POTW, so here's a few...

"What did you put on me, daddy??"  (sunscreen for the pool...)

I will be 39 weeks tomorrow and the doctor decided that she thinks the baby is BIG, like 10 pounds big.  We go tomorrow afternoon for an ultrasound and then they are going to talk with us about it after.  Either way, we should have a baby by the 15th at the latest.

QOTW: Sleep, read, go to a movie.

Updates: DD graduated from therapy last week.  She got to put her painted handprint on the giant wall mural of all the "graduates" to signify what she's accomplished.  Her hand was by far the tiniest one on there and it was a bittersweet day.  I'm so proud of her.

I start student teaching tomorrow K-3 reading and then 4th grade.  DS starts daycare for the first time and DD will be attending extended Kindergarten. It's going to be a big week for all of us.

 

POTW: My kids are big hams in front of the camera and this was the only pouty photo I could find.

If I had a day all to myself I would read. I love to read, and always have 'excuses' not too. Once the baby comes, that may change to sleep or something else, but for now I'd read all day long!

QOTW:  I am like everyone else.  I would sleep until I am ready to get up.  Go get a massage, pedicure, and a facial.  And my house would be getting cleaned while I am out and about.  Maybe dinner cooking in the crockpot as well, or dinner out at my favorite place. 

Updates:  DD is climbing on everything.  She has also figured out how to open doors. She is just barely tall enough to reach a few door handles.  She also likes to turn the lock buttons.  I know we are going to get locked out of the house because of that, and I had to hide a key.  So, we are babyproofing even more things to keep it safe around here.  She is talking up a storm and has turned into quite the social butterfly.  We play lots of games together...just make them up on the fly, and she just loves it.  She is way into coloring and her play doh now that she has gotten over her fear of getting her hands dirty.  I am having a blast with her.

 As many of the rest of us. I would sleep in, lay in bed most of the day and read, go get a big fat cookie dough shiver and enjoy every bite, and then go back to sleep!

Ashlyn is over her ear infection, flu bug and back to normal. Thank god!!!!

QOTW: Like everyone else I would SLEEP, I'd wake up only when I wanted to, then go get a massage and manicure, then go shopping and buy myself some new clothes.

Updates:  Noah is hilarious like always!  He's really working on saying Mama and Dada and knowing who he's talking about...it melts my heart when he says Mama and looks at me!  My sister is due with her first Valentines Day, but should have her before that and I can't wait to hold a tiny baby again!  We're gearing up to TTC again, on my next cycle I should ovulate the last few days of February so we're going to go ahead and try.  It's technically REALLY close to March and I don't figure a few days or a week will make much difference in the big scheme of things.

If I had a day to myself I would sleep in, work out, and then clean! I would do a deep cleaning and then take a nice hot shower! Then, I think I would make a nice little dinner....better yet, get takeout and then snuggle in and watch a good movie:)

 Both the kids are doing great. Jack has been surprising me everyday with his letters. He actually knows them! He'll point to a word and then tell me the letters in them. He's my smart little guy.

Annie took 4 steps yesterday! I looked up and she was standing in the middle of the room and then she took off! I love how they look when they first start to walk! Oh, and she is doing a puree strike. She just wants table foods now. Fun fun:)

QOTW:  If you had one day completely to yourself, what would you do?
  As sad as it sounds I would clean the house! And then when I was done I'd love to go get a massage to work those tired muscles that I used cleaning and maybe get a manicure b/c my hands are so dry from always washing bottles! 

 Oliver is 8 months old, I can't believe how fast he's growing!  He is trying to pull himself up on everything and he loves holding onto our fingers and walking around the house.  He has outgrown his Snugride32 carseat so we're off to buy Isabelle a new carseat this week so that Oliver can have hers.  Isabelle is so funny, we're going to check out a preschool this week for her and she is so excited, she keeps telling everyone that we don't need to teach her anything right now b/c school is going to teach her, not us!

I would sleep in of course then lounge around on the couch watching bad tv and movies while someone else cleaned and organized my house.  Heaven!

I would totally sleep in!  As late as I wanted.  And then I would stay in bed and read.  I haven't read any books in so long.  I would order delivery and continue to lay in bed while I ate.  I wouldn't mind watching a good Lifetime movie at some point.

 

Lillian has learned to scoot backwards and get herself back to a sitting position from her belly.  She sort of does the splits to get herself upright.  We have her follow up appointment with the specialist to see if she can start wearing her brace less.  We are hopeful but I am also pretty nervous.  I guess I will feel this way every time we have an apt. until she is much older and given the "all clear!"

This is EXACTLY what I'd do.  I can't usually sleep in much past 9 anymore, but I LOVE to take naps!

Updates: Logan has been coming up with new things every day.  He's starting to piece together little phrases and his vocabulary has just exploded.  He can recognize some letters now D, O, P, U, S, X, Y are the ones he can tell us.  I don't know why those are the ones he knows.  I can't say enough how fun this stage is (well, minus the tantrums).

QOTW: I have a lot of "days to myself" right now but if I had a day to myself outside the hospital I would definitely get a massage, mani/pedi, come home to a home-cooked meal (not cooked by me ) and take a nap in my OWN bed w/ DH--thats what I miss most, not being able to adequately cuddle w/ the hubs in our own comfy, pillowtop queen size bed

Update: I have my big u/s tomorrow-I will find out if I am being induced starting thurs. or if I am on lock-down for another 2 weeks--mixed emotions and feelings either way! T&P would be appreciated!

I can be added to the expecting list too - I had my 10 week check up on Friday and we heard the heart beat loud and strong. My EDD is 8/26/10.

 If I had a day to myself, I would probably have a spa day

UPDATE - I started my new job today and really wanted to tell someone that I'm pregnant and get the dish on maternity, but was too afraid
