3 month old play time

Do any of you recall when your LO started grabbing at toys and consciously playing with them?

 

My LO is interested in the rattles etc but doesn't hold them just lets me play with them and doesn't seem to want to grab them.  Maybe I'm being crazy and she's not old enough yet!!!

Just over the past few weeks, DS has really started grabbing at toys and playing with them.  Don't worry, your LO is not behind!

thanks... i don't know why i started worrying about it this morning !!!!  I just don't know any other babies her age so i have no idea when things are generally supposed to happen

He swats at things most of the time, like a toy hanging from his carseat or his bouncy chair. He has grabbed them from time to time, but its usually by accident cause he just looks shocked and confused, then tries to put whatever it is in his hands in his mouth.  Sometimes he shows interest, sometimes he doesnt, just depends.

Just last week DD started grabbing the toys on her playmat or bouncer and pulling at them. She's been batting at them for a little longer, but not much.

As far as holding a rattle or something, she's not at all interested in it until it's hanging over her head.
