fun weekend activity

Caleb is OBSESSED with watching and playing sports and we've been talking about taking him to a college basketball game.  We took him to the UC women's game today and he loved it!  He kept yelling "GO GO GO!  Run!  Shoot!"  Hillarious!!  It was not crowded at all so it wasn't a big deal to get up and down and we could spread out.  The cheerleaders, dance team, mascot, bearcat from the zoo, band, and other entertainment were there so it really kept him interested.  I don't know if they do this all the time, but we went with a bunch of family so if you buy 15 tickets they are $1 a piece.  Plus they had $1 hotdogs and $1 drafts.  Can't beat that!!!  And it felt good to support a team that has to live in the shadows of men's basketball.  I'm sure XU does something similar.  And if you live on the west side I know that the Mount St. Joe men's and women's games are never crowded.  I bet Thomas Moore would be the same.
