I'm considering picking up a pack of them for our trip to Florida (flying) for the convenience, but I use Drop-Ins and the nipples seem much wider then the ready-made formula bottles.
Any standard collar and nipple should work - and you can buy the nipples @ Target, but the collars are hard to find. If you have Medela bottles, those will work, otherwise I'd just dump them in your bottles and feed that way - less change for LO that way too. You can buy collars online or get a few cheap bottles and steal those, but IMO why spend the $ for one trips use?

I got some extra rings from the hospital and kept them, but I bought a pack of Dr. Brown slow flow nipples from Wal-Mart. They were in a package of 3 and work really well on the ready to feed bottles (they looked smaller than the ones that go on the actual bottle)! I think I also saw a Gerber brand and maybe a Playtex brand too!
We're using Born Free and those don't fit the ready-to-feed nursers so we had to go buy smaller nipples. Evenflo makes some that fit so we got those.
We had several that we got from the hospital but the packaging says to dispose of them after one use. Something about the rubber becoming a choking hazard if you reuse. They must use a lower quality rubber for the hospital nipples.?
BRU sells the Evenflo collars and nipples separately. I think they are around $3 for a 3 pack of collars/6 pack of nipples. We also use the Nuby no-drip nipples for travel. These take more work for LO to get out, but they don't drip, which is great when you have to feed in a car, on a plane, etc.
We had a ton of ready made bottles leftover from the hospitals, but quickly ran out of nipples. I just take an empty bottle that we normally use and pour the formula in as needed when we are out for an extended period of time. I rinse our bottle out so its ready for the next feeding. Just an idea...
I had to figure this same thing out before DS was born. We were traveling 3 1/2 hours from home and we needed these for easy feedings. I ended up buying the nipples with rings directly from abbott nutrition's website. You can buy how many you want and they come individually wrapped so they are sterile and ready to use.
Re: If you use the ready-made formula bottles...
They do not come with nipples, unfortunately.
