Registry note?

Wondering what (if) others wrote as a note on their registry? I feel very grateful that our friends and family would consider buying anything for us, so I feel compelled to write something. Just not sure what I should write.

We told people what our theme was (so they could get other things that coordinate) and that we planned to cloth diaper and breastfeed, so that no one buys us packs of diapers.

I thought instead of a place to write a "thank-you" they were for things like: the nursery will be pink with butterflies.  So that people could buy you things off the registry that weren't necessarily off the wall.  Maybe you're right though and I'm coming off as selfish!

I put: Thank you for thinking of us!  The baby's gender will be a surprise when he/she is born.

We are using cloth diapers also, but I didn't put that, I just registered for a few & people have understood.

We wrote "We're tickled purple to be welcoming Paige Morgan into the world" (We're anti-pink)
