Babies: 3 - 6 Months

So..

my house is closer to some bars than the rest of my friends, and it USED to be that our house was the house to crash at if you needed it.
Well tonight I get a few visitors ( my very best friends ) which was nice... but they sit and talk about their drama.... and just stuff that really isnt important. They are all single... no kids. I am the first of this small group of friends.

I feel bad sometimes because I get tired of hearing about why some douchebag didnt call them back or whatever. Who is doing who or dating who... blah blah...

Yes, I was like that once before... I think I may just be tired of not having daily mommy conversation. Me and the friends of mine that do have kids have monthly play dates... but I think I need more. LOL

Oh, and my friends are now crashed in my guest bedrooms.... I was not going to let them drive home drunk. I may have to put the crash pad to a halt.

Re: So..

  • I feel the same way sometimes. But, I've moved on with my life and they haven't. You are a very good friend too for letting them crash and gossip with you though!! I would've left the lights on and asked they they be quiet coming in ;) LOL.

  • Loading the player...
  • Maybe im still young at heart.. I LOVE hearing other peoples gossip drama when it doesnt involve me and I love visitors...

Either way it was nice of you to let them stay at your house

  • Oh, I love hearing them gossip and all that. Its fun... but the minute I talk about any mommy related stuff... they have a blank look.

Eh, it happens. I think I am just overtired and was not expecting a knock on the door after JUST getting DS down for the night... he is still teething something awful!!
