  • Who deletes them? Is it thebump or the poster?

    Usually the poster.

Well, I take that back.  Depends which board.

I have no idea how to delete even using the delete button! My computer went crazy and posted 10 of the same post the other day. I tried to delete them a minute later, and it said my time to delete it had expired.

  • you know, I tried to delete a post a few weeks ago (just because I changed my mind about asking something) and it wouldn't allow me to delete it. It said something like the time had expired to delete the post and that I had to contact an administrator.  So I ended up just editing it.  So.. not sure who deletes the post...
  • You can delete after a couple of minutes.  You just have to wait.  There was enough time between her post and the deletion for her to have deleted.

If the gods were deleting posts, don't you think the one below would go too?

  • Darn I missed it.

Though welfare is a touuuuchy subject with me. I'm guessing it's a good thing.

I am all for welfare and WIC for people who need it, I had to use WIC when I was pg and had ds at an early age.

But to actively try to have a baby when you and your dh don't have a job or insurance is irresponsible imo.

  • I'm just wondering, since the OP on medicaid didn't say anything about her "planning" to get pg or TTC, why people put that together?  The OP just talked about how her DH and her were both out of work had no insurance and were hoping Medicaid went through.  Oh and that she hasn't gone to the Dr. yet etc...

However, one of her earlier posts did talk about TTC and how to tell the parents so maybe that's how people discerned that she was TTC while unemployed and had no insurance?

I responded to the post after someone called it "MUD" and I said something like "good luck OP, this post doesn't look like it will end well" or something like that...then poof it was gone!

Yeah, she did. She said her dh and her had been trying to conceive for 15 months.

She outright said in her post she was TTC for 15 months ad that her and her DH weren't working, although her DH might have a job lined up too.

wow I can't believe I missed that thanks.  I thought I read the OP carefully too.  I must have just assumed no one would be TTC w/no jobs.  Ha. I give people too much credit apparently.  Insanity.

Yeah, this is what I meant. I get a case of the twitches just thinking about it.
