Is it bad to punch babies in the face?

I've been punching Mols in the face a lot because she won't shut up. Is that bad? My exboyfriends moms cousins sister told me it will make her stupid.

No Ahartz, punching is okay.  So long as it is in the face - anywhere else will make your baby stupid.

I asked the pediatrician today. He said punching is ok, so long as you don't tickle the baby. LOL
