Spit up and BF

Alright, my kid is spitting up A LOT.  I mean it seems to happen everytime he nurses.  My boyfriend said he doesn't with his new bottle much at all, only every once in a while.  I just bought him the breastflow bottle and he seems to really like.  Any idea why he would be spitting up a lot BF but not with the bottle?  Should I be concerned?  I plan on calling the pedi on Monday but I thought maybe someone had some experience with it.  TIA!

    Two possibilites come to mind... and neither is a huge concern.

    He could be getting more air in his tummy while BFing than with the bottle. Probably only the case if he is popping off and on the boob repeatedly, or if he gasps for breath (possibly due to a forceful letdown), or a bad latch.

    He could be spitting up more while BFing because he is laying down more, as opposed to getting a bottle where people tend to prop up the baby slightly more upright. Gravity helps keep it down a bit more.
