sleep positioner question

DS sleeps swaddled and on his side (using the positioner). He has started rolling back to belly in the past couple of weeks and has rolled belly to back since he was about 3 months old. The pedi told us we could keep swaddling until he doesn't want to anymore even with the rolling. What about the positioner, though? He hasn't rolled while swaddled so far, but should I take the positioner out anyway? Thanks!

I'm not sure;  my twins outgrew the positioner by 7 weeks old.
