My LO is self-weaning from the paci

I'm thrilled!  He used to want it all the time.  Now he only wants it when he's really upset or trying to fall asleep.

DD weaned herself. hasn't taken a paci since November.

Now that I look back on it Henry did that as well.  He uses it at night and for naps.  Sometimes I will give it to him in the car, but he spits it out.

Same here, and he often even falls asleep without it at all now
